Memory Lapses

I’m in my middle 40’s and have a job that requires me to be on top of my game at all times. When MindWorks came out I thought, ‘Maybe this could help those memory lapses?’ I started taking MindWorks and within a couple of weeks I noticed a huge difference. My attention span was better and my ability to retain information greatly improved! The improvement was dramatic enough that my husband and daughter took notice of the change. They mentioned that I wasn’t asking questions that I had previously asked them. This is one product that I do not want to be without as it really does work amazingly well. I might add that we use many of the Shaklee products and have conluded that if Shaklee makes it we can trust that it is safe and effective.

My Life Plan, Bursitus, Horseback Riding, A Miracle?

Over 10 years ago I had to stop riding bareback because of the painful bursitis in my hips, and could only ride my narrow Australian saddle. I have suffered with bursitis since college, but Shaklee sure has helped that, along with my bad knees! For the past several years, I have not been able to dismount to the ground, but have had to bring my horse to the mounting stairs to get off, because of the pain and stiffness in my hips. I started taking Life Plan 6 weeks ago. 3 weeks ago I went on a very long ride with a friend, and when I came home I noticed that it was not quite as painful to dismount, which is very unusual for such a long time in the saddle (5 hours). The last two days I rode bareback for a couple of hours and could dismount right to the ground. Today I needed to ride my saddle for quite a hard ride, and when I came back I did not have to use the mounting stairs to dismount, AND I could walk immediately, pain free with no stiffness!! The only thing that I have been doing differently is the Life Plan, and believe me I have been a loyal off-the-shelf take everything Shaklee gal for over 40 years! HALLELUJAH HALLELUJAH! What other amazing health benefits will I be noticing in the next few months because of our amazing Life Plan? I look forward to every human having equally spectacular results!!!

No More Hot Flashes

I can’t begin to say what an amazing, positive difference that Shaklee’s Menopause Balancing Complex has made in my life!

I used to have hot flashes, in which I’d feel very flushed, wake up all through the night, and feel as if my hormones were out of balance.

Autoimmune and Weight

I definitely believe Vivix helps with inflammation. I have several autoimmune conditions and my symptoms are milder and sometimes even go away when I am consistent with taking Vivix. I also feel it helps with weight control.

Blood Pressure Surprise

A little vessel broke by my eye, so I went to the Dr. and discovered that my blood pressure was 190/90! I was told to go to the ER and that I would need to start on medication. I read the side effects and said, “No way!” I told the Dr about Shaklee Blood Pressure and how I wanted to try it before any medication. I stopped everyday at Walgreens to have them take my blood pressure to be sure that it was accurate. Within a few weeks my pressure went down to 140/80. In another few weeks it went to 128/70! My son, Tim had the same experience. We looked at the side effects with drugs and realized we better take control of our health ourselves. And thanks to Shaklee we were able to do just that!

Performance has been a lifesaver when I run long distances. I either hydrate with it before the race or carry it with me on the longer races. I can feel the difference as it hydrates better and more quickly than water so I can push myself farther. When I've used other sports drinks, they feel like they slosh around in my stomach and made me feel nauseous. Performance absorbs so quickly that I feel great when I drink it.

My boys who play competitive hockey also love Performance before and after practices and games. As a mom I love there is nothing artificial in the way of colors or sweeteners and the boys love the added endurance they receive when being hydrated properly.

For the last 6 months I have been suffering from chronic severe pain in my left foot which has been diagnosed as Plantar Fasciitis. This is an inflammation of a ligament which runs from the heel towards the large toe. The pain has been so intense that for the last 3 months I have been using a cane to walk. I had to buy new shoes and to put my foot in a cast every night while sleeping. I can't take anti-inflammatories or pain meds so I just had to suffer.

After the reading the information about Vivix, I ordered some and began taking one teaspoon a day last Monday. I couldn't believe it but last Wednesday (after 2 days!), I put down my cane as I could now walk without severe pain. By Friday I had very little pain and today I have NO pain. Just one week and I am pain free. Unbelievable! For any skeptics out there, all I can say is it worked for me and if you have chronic pain you should try this.

PS…And today’s updated testimonial from Rick…I wanted you to know my current health results. I still do not have plantar pain UNLESS I go without Vivix for more than 5 days.

For years my children told me that I had ADD, but being an primary teacher, I thought my inability to focus was caused by my job since it constantly requires your brain to flit from one thing to another. It wasn’t until I retired two and a half years ago that I realized what my children meant. I first noticed it when I was reading and there was no one to interrupt me. My eyes would jump from one paragraph to another looking for the main idea and not reading each sentence completely. If I didn’t understand what I was reading, I would jump back to a previous paragraph looking for the information. My mind was moving so quickly and so were my eyes. There were no children to distract me, but my brain just couldn’t stay focused. Also, listening to someone speak either to me or in a group setting was another challenge. I would give the speaker eye contact and look like I was listening (usually) but my mind was often thinking about something else. When I began taking MindWorks, I could finally pay attention to what I was reading and to what others were saying or doing. I am so thankful that I can achieve with Shaklee what so many people can only do with drugs. This product has given my brain what it needs without chemicals and the side effects that go with them. It has made a difference in my life and for that I will always be thankful!

Because I have suffered from low energy, thyroid problems and arthritis for many years, I decided to try Vivix to see if it would help any of these issues. After about two weeks, I noticed that a ganglion cyst on my wrist had disappeared. Soon after that, two small bumps under my right eye vanished. Next, a raised, rough lesion on my forehead fell off before I could even get to a dermatologist. As for my arthritis, I no longer wear compression gloves to crochet because I no longer have sharp pains in my thumbs. Lowered Cholesterol

My cardiologist was beginning to talk ‘statin drugs’ which are not even an option for me because of all the side effects, so I began taking Cholesterol Reduction Complex. In 3 ½ months my LDL(bad) dropped from 145 to 116. My HDL(good) increased from 63 to 78. My cardiologist is amazed. Macular Degeneration Improvement

DS, reported that she had macular degeneration so bad that she could not see the eye chart in the doctor's office. We started her on Carotomax, Vivix, 180 Smoothee Protein, and Vitalizer last April. Within two weeks she felt there was an improvement and after another month she was sure of it. In July, she went back to her eye doctor for her regular check up. Her doctor was surprised to see that DS could now read 2 lines of print on the eye chart!

As remarkable as this is, DS, also was a pianist but could not play piano due to the combination of arthritis in her hands and her vision problem. Six months after starting this regimen she is now able to play the beautiful piano sitting in her living room! Thank you Shaklee!

PS Update on Macular Degeneration. I wrote a few weeks ago about how much Shaklee has helped my downline, DS, with her vision. Well, she saw her eye doctor last month and found she could now read the third line on the eye chart! Her vision has improved so much she is being fitted with glasses.

I started Shaklee 180 about 1.5 weeks ago. Since then I have observed the following:

Better feeling in my left hand (had a trapped nerve which was released with surgery).

A drop in weight of 11 pounds. Better, longer sleep. More strength and easier to get out of bed.

I wonder what the next week will bring! Thank you for introducing me to Shaklee 180 and the better health that I am experiencing.

Energy and Stroke Symptoms Improve

I started taking MindWorks last week and I can tell you for certain my energy level has increased greatly! I suffered a stroke this past January and my recovery has gone well, but since taking MindWorks not only has my energy level increased but believe it or not I have greatly increased the use of my right arm and hand! I have to admit I was a little skeptical before starting MindWorks but it is definitely something I would highly recommend to everyone!

I Run Better… Hurt LESS!
A couple of years ago I was doing a long weekend run and just plain ran out of gas. I walked the final 2 miles home and began to rethink my nutritional support. I was only hydrating with water for runs under 12 miles and was not using a recovery drink other than doing my daily soy protein shake. I decided to try the Shaklee Performance prior to my runs and Shaklee Physique after my runs to see if I saw a difference. The contrast could not have been more start. My energy level during long runs was noticeable on the first try and I was no longer forced to take as much time between runs to recover. The most amazing thing was that post-run soreness has become a thing of the past. I cannot say enough about how good these two products are. My husband is a mountain biker and he can’t believe how, after getting beat up on a tough trail, soreness is non-existent in the days to follow.

Brain Clarity and Improved Eyesight

I was in a car accident 2 years ago. From then on, I wondered what had happened to my mind; everything was so confusing! My first day with MindWorks felt like my brain got cleansed… clarity returned. The after effects of the car accident on my brain were gone. I think it is improving my eyesight as well. Since Starting the Life Plan Strip

Elena, I don't think that I would be as healthy as I am now without Shaklee! In 2009, my triglycerides were 91 mg/dL, my HDL was 54 mg/dL and my LDL was 78 mg/dL. Just this past month, my triglycerides were 65, HDL 76, and LDL 90. HDL is the "happy" lipid and a higher number is better than a lower number. My physician wanted me to be above 60 and I knocked it out of the ballpark! LDL should be below 99 and mine was. Triglycerides ideally should be below 149 and again, another home run!Since starting the Life Plan Strip, I don't have as many aches and pains due to the Vivix and the Omega3. Vivix and the Omega3 have been a life-saver and I am so thankful that I am making the investment in my health, improving my health and overall quality of life. Why have we used and shared these products since 1983?
Well, let me get personal: in my young adult years, before Shaklee, I was on one anti-biotic after another for chronic sinusitis and colitis. At age 38, I was getting extremely frustrated with the direction my health was going. I was introduced to Shaklee at that time and gave it a try. Because of the many years that my health was challenged, it took time and consistent use of the products to see results, but when I did, I felt like a new person was waking up inside me! Because everything used in the home or on our bodies affects us, I began using everything Shaklee had to offer: the non-toxic cleaners/laundry care and skincare as well as the nutritional products. One day, a friend looked at me and said, “I want what you’re using.” And it went from there.
We are not without challenges, but at 70 and 75, we are doing well. Recently, Larry had a hernia repair. No, we have no idea how that happened! But it did and we had an excellent surgeon and staff. One of the doctors came in at prep time and looked over Larry’s info. He said, “You have a long list of supplements!” I said, “they’re Shaklee, whole food supplements.” He looked at Larry and then at me and then back at Larry, “Well, they must be working, you both look great!” What a nice compliment. In fact, everyone who took care of him was amazed that he is 75! Cool! And then there’s the 50# Larry lost and has kept off with Shaklee’s 180 Weight Management program!!!! I’m so proud of him!

We know that there are people out there our age that are more active than we are, but we also know that we are more active than many and perhaps most people our age! We are very thankful for Shaklee and to God for blessing our lives.
Here’s my last confession for you: several times over the 30+ yrs I’ve used Shaklee, I allowed doctors to talk me into trying their products instead of Shaklee (you’d think I would know better, but I told you, this is a confession!). Each time I did that, I soon felt unwell. In fact, symptoms came back that I had forgotten about! Never again. I’m sticking with Shaklee, solidly backed by science, research, technology. They test every, EVERY ingredient before it goes into their products and then they test each batch. Shaklee has never had a recall on a contaminated product because of this.
